FAQs about Parking at La Sierra University

Q1. Where can I find the Rules and Regulations for parking on the La Sierra University Campus?

A1. You can click on the User button, located in the upper right hand corner of the PERCS webpage, then click on the Profile link, and then click the link that reads: "Terms and Policy".

If you do not have a PERCS profile, click here to find the La Sierra University Rules & Regulations at the Campus Safety and Security Patrol website.

Q2. I just received my permit, is there ever a point where I can park outside of my assigned lot?

A2. Registered Vehicles must be parked in either their assigned parking lot or overflow parking in M-lot. Between 3:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. registered vehicles may park in any student lots. Between 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., registered vehicles with current permits may be parked in any faculty or student parking lot. During the summer sessions and breaks between each quarter, the same hours stand. Although students are not assigned parking lots in summer, they must park in student parking lots and can only park in faculty/staff parking between 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. as long as vehicles are properly registered.

Q3. What is a classification, and how am I able to add a non-dormitory residence to my permit?

A3. Classifications are what allow users to pick what category suits them best, i.e. "Graduate Student - Commuter" "Campus Housing/Non-Dormitory". These classifications are what allows you, the user, to be able to select the appropriate permit for your vehicle. Remember, if you do not have the ACCURATE classification, you may not be able to register your vehicle properly to the lot and building you choose.

Q4. I cannot find any parking in my lot, where else can I park?

A4. M-lot (Alumni Pavilion paring lot) is always the overflow lot when any lot is full.
